I wonder if Justine managed to speak with Munroe. I think that would have made for an interesting conversation.

Why? I’m pretty sure Mumsnet is just a business to her now, that gives her a public platform ( which she may have got anyway via her university/other work/family connections). I doubt she agrees with most of the stuff posted here, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t makes business sense to allow it.

I wouldn't want to make assumptions about Justine's personal beliefs based solely on the way many mumsnet threads lean.

True that discussions are allowed here that may be shut down elsewhere, but that in itself is not evidence of what the owners think on the issue.
It could be they agree with many of the posters on here, or it could be that they disagree but beleive in free speech, or it could be that they don't feel strongly either way.
