Sorry if I've missed a thread on this, but I'm planning on going along and wondered if anyone else was? I haven't seen much written about it.

Thank you :)

It was great. I shall be back next year with whistles and glo-sticks and face paint and my own placard Grin

...and I'm now on the train with a MWR placard on the way home and getting lots of friendly smiles from other women which is lovely 😊

I totally forgot about this but was shopping with my son on Oxford st while it went by and it looked fantastic. I saw some really great and brave placards.

Was awesome. Took DiddyDragon and she absolutely loved the while thing. I'm counting that as a parenting win. Grin

Just back - really glad I went - and the rain held off!

Great atmosphere and agree about seeing the different groups and banners.

It made my heart leap when I saw the Mayday for Women banner in Suffragette colours on the news 😍

Three reasons to love today's march.

I didn't see those!!

Well done to the brave women who made them and walked with them. I so desperately wanted to tell the teens in front just what it was they were fighting for with their inclusive feminism banner. I don't think the have any idea....

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 10/03/2018 20:56

I'm glad I didn't see the teens. I saw one small rainbow placard with a passive-aggressive message about inclusion & that was it.

Another lesbian & I had a great time making up our own chant about the power of pussy, vagina, vulva & clitoris. Grin

We were potentially walking near each other at one point Giles - that banner was in front of me for a while.

I did like the two women in full Suffragette dresses.

I think it must summed it up at the end when we got to the square and people started propping their signs up at the back behind the benches.

Someone had put a rainbow circle thing saying educate and celebrate. About being lgbt inclusive. There were lesbians there. Sure bisexual women were there too. Gay is for men so....

We know what it was really about hey. It had been placed next to a Black Womens' lives matter sign.

Kinda just showed they don't get it do they.
