Women & Equalities C'tee wants input on street harassment

WIBU to post a tardy reminder that parliament's Women &Equalities committee is seeking input from individuals and organisations on public sexual harassment of women and girls.

Deadline is 5th March.

Why submit? The Committee wants to understand why sexual harassment happens in public places, what effect it has on women and girls, and how to prevent it and support victims.

Have namechanged as I plan to submit public evidence as an individual. I've had NICE TITS shouted at me once too often when running and have had it.

I dunno whether parliament spam filters will allow submissions including: nice tits, I want to fuck you, big tits, oi you fucking gorgeous etc etc, but am about to find out

Thanks for the reminder, I saw this weeks ago and meant to do it but totally forgot - done this now.

Perhaps we should all make the point that women's toilets have traditionally provided a safe haven from this sort of thing (I know I've ducked into the loos on various occasions to get away from blokes who were behaving inappropriately, knowing that they would be very unlikely to follow me in)....?

Olennas yes I think worth mentioning concerns about self-Id and ask how we would be protected particularly with scrapping the equality act
