Grin I couldn't not;

hilzilla · 23/02/2018 23:43

Take a book to read, GG has lost the plot.

thebewilderness · 24/02/2018 00:20

I am happy for you. She is brilliant, but I suppose getting a bit tired of the never ending misunderstandings and no longer able to discern between the willful and the genuine. The first time a transgender male advocate tried to blind her with glitter in 2012 should have been a wake up call for all of us.

MrsOvarall · 24/02/2018 00:48

Very jealous. Lucky you! Please report back.

youngerself · 24/02/2018 00:55

Ffs why do I miss these things 🙄
I'd love to see her

Itscurtainsforyou · 24/02/2018 01:00

Me too! She's said some suspect things of late so I'm interested to hear what she'll come out with...

TerfsUp · 24/02/2018 09:37

Excellent! I am a fan of Ms Greer and am sure you will find the evening informative and helpful.

mamas12 · 24/02/2018 09:42

How great is that!
Please report back I'd love to hear what she has to say.

RustyParker · 24/02/2018 15:55

I'm going too, not long to go... Smile

QuentinSummers · 24/02/2018 19:26

I went last year and she mostly talked about the environment. Was very interesting but not 100% what I expected

Itscurtainsforyou · 25/02/2018 11:30

Well I'm glad I went, but it was bizarre.

She started by touching on the #metoo movement and was unnecessarily unpleasant about uma Thurman.

She made comments about how crazy the rape laws were in this country that someone could get 18 months suspended for attempted murder but a pesky partner who wouldn't take no for an answer could get 7 years for rape. I struggled hugely with this.

She talked about the environment but it was a bit random -talking about the land she has and wild life. There were only a few instances of where what she was saying could be applied to most other people.

And she told us that she didn't use toilet paper.

Not quite what I was expecting.

mooncuplanding · 25/02/2018 11:35

Manchester? I went too

I struggled with most of what she talked about. Was disappointing tbh

The whole uma Thurman thing set her off on a weird road, it didn't make sense and seemed pretty nasty. Then the ramblings about insects were another step into peculiar. Slebs are so unimpressive in real life.

Baubletrouble43 · 25/02/2018 11:42

Used to love her. Now think she's full of shit.

Mumsnut · 25/02/2018 12:06

She's coming up to 80. Maybe the halogen mind is dulling.
