I took up the 3 quid for 3 months offer on the TImes to read what was begin written about trans. Rod is having a sneer at sexist T shirts not realising that the opposition to sexist clothing is actually consistent with right wing views on pornification of children and extreme identity politics. He also demonstrates how clueless he is about statistics.

Anyway I did like his sneery t shirt suggestion above..... can we come up with a few more to send him?

I haven't seen the article and can't fully judge from your post, but I'm confused by your comment about "Right Wing views on pornification of children and extreme identity politics". Extreme identity politics tends to be the province of the Left, with the complex exception of nationalism where it exists on the Right as well, but in different ways.

And again, "pornification of children" isn't something I see being a Right Wing thing. And in the case of the USA and to a lesser extent the UK of Right Wing correlating with Conservatism, I'd say it's more the opposite. For example, Hollywood is very Left-leaning. anti-pornography campaigns more tend to come from the Right, etc.

The sexist clothing the left are trying to avoid for boys also includes stripper gear for young girls. That is the same as the right wing viewpoint as we both point out.

Extreme left ID politics are driving the trans ideology objected to by the right and the left, again avoiding sexist stereotype clothes would/are assisting both political sides in doing that.

Rod is too well paid as a right wing dude to talk sense about these things so he has to sneer about women for money, he's paid to perform masculinity for other men to admire.

Rod is a friend. And an alley actually. He was until 2015 a Labour Party member, when he left at the because of antisemitism in the party. He’s not right wing, he’s a centralist. And he is dead against GRA.

It is part of a longer , rather funny , article about voting age- most of which is clearly not meant to be taken seriously. Although he has a valid point about lowering it to 16.

The bit about identifying as Loretta made me laugh...
