They're right to do so. I've just seen the stats on young girls who have been put on hormone treatments in one NZ city:

The numbers of females in Wellington NZ being put on cross sex hormones has increased twelvefold (~1240%) since 2010. 30% of those females are under 20. The trend is expected to be the same elsewhere.

And groups like Stonewall and trans activists deny that "social contagion" is a thing.

N.b. I've attached a graph. The graph isn't of the above figures, it's of the proportion of girls referred vs. boys over the same time period. This shows that girls make up a far higher proportion of the increase than boys. The report doesn't say why but my educated guess would be two main reasons:
1/ We know girls are more subject to body issues and social pressure than boys.
2/ Girls are more likely to be "gender non-conforming" than boys. Because short of a boy putting on a dress and shouting "I'm a woman" they can pretty much get away with anything whilst if a girl so much as picks up a screwdriver people start telling her she "has a boy brain". And trans activist groups push gender non-conforming as indicating trans.

I seems like girls are being medicalised disproportionately to boys when it comes to gender treatments.

I've sort of noticed that (and this is observational, I've not researched it) the trend for TIMs is heading in the direction of being accepted as the opposite sex with no treatment necessary but TIFs the other way.

I think this is because males have such confidence and dominance they can through sheer force and policing make people collude with the lie. Whereas females are having to have every treatment and surgery possible to have a fraction of being taken seriously as TIMs have.

It follows vey much the wider medical model about how men and women are treated as patients etc...

I've marched in Pride Parades for nearly 20 years but now I just avoid them because they don't represent our community any more and include groups which are promoting harmful, homophobic, misogynistic messages.

I've been to several Pride Parades (different cities, different countries) which have an anti-gay evangelical Christian protest somewhere along the march (every year, it's kind of a standard thing for a lot of Prides) but never felt actually intimidated and the organisers would just say 'ignore them' or some marchers would have a laugh and pose next to their signs. Now people with homophobic, sexist, regressive views are central to the parade and you wouldn't dare speak out against them. Girls are being told they can identify their way out of oppression and porn culture. I do not blame them. I do blame the adults who are lying to them and the medical professionals that are giving them dangerous drugs in order to watch what happens to them.
