I don't really know where to start with this.
This little girl was being bullied at school for not fitting cultural stereotypes of femininity, so she decided at age 14 she must be trans. The 3 month wait and assessment process at the tavy were too onerous so her mum got rogue doctor Helen Webberley to prescribe puberty blockers and testosterone to a 14 year old. This is reported absolutely uncritically. The irresponsible 'better a son than a dead daughter' narrative is given an airing and Mermaids gets a plug.
How did we get here? This is propaganda for child abuse.
