For clothes Paris Lees, for example, might enjoy wearing.

Is it just me?

It will be just you.

MN ads are generated based on what t'Internet thinks your interested are, based on what you actually look at. (There is no way for it to decide why you might be looking).

I've been getting ads for motorbike helmets and jackets, tyres and other motorbike stuff. Because I let DP use my tablet the other day. It's just showing you ads depending on what you've been looking at.

I have been getting lots for the charity 'Plan' which talks about sponsoring girls in other countries and the problems they face. I like these ads.

I just find it so ironic, if that's the right word, that I'm on here having to argue why the word girl does and should continue to mean actual biological girl because a bunch of male bullies are entertaining themselves trying to shout down anyone who subscribes to reality.

I do also get clothes ads but I like the clothes, they're mostly tasteful.

I have also had the All Gay holiday ad come up too - is that because I'm clicking on some of the transgender article links?

The internet could not have got it more wrong about my choice of apparel.

I have been Googling a lot of niche stuff lately, I guess...

I've got adblock on so can't see any at all woohoo!

Facebook offers me a weird mix of stuff.

I get make up (benefit currently) and missguided clothes (never heard of them). The only time I wore make up was on my wedding day (twenty years ago) and whilst I have worn a dress since, I can probably count the occurrences on both hands.
I suspect the algorithms are fairly basic. Oh feminism = woman = make up and teen fashion.
Probably coded by TIMs anyway.

I’ve had Plan ads.

And I’m getting the Barbie x Missguided collection and some other brand of sparkly, skimpy stuff. Seriously, not in a million!

I am 47. Bahahahaha. Not even my teenage dd’s would wear this stuff.

Relieved it’s not just me.

Does the internet think I’m a TIM, I wonder? I mean, I’m some sort of trans-something by current definitions, but not a TIM.

I bought a lipstick (used once) two years ago, maybe that’s it Grin
