I particularly liked this bit:

"Labour’s leader, the sainted Jeremy Corbyn, has made it clear that he supports the right of people to decide whether they are male or female, without a change in their legal status or any “invasive” medical checks.

Jeremy, if you think those checks will breach a bloke’s privacy, wait till he has a smear test, or gives birth, or even menstruates once a month. Oh wait, that won’t happen. Ever."

Typical - when their arguments don't stand up to scrutiny they try to erase all debate. Why are TRAs so cavalier about the concept of free speech?

I wouldn't mind seeing them succeed in suppressing this article. While they'd be celebrating another small victory I could imagine a very strong counter-reaction in the mainstream over freedom of speech.

Yes - I saw that comments and so went over to the IPSO website. I was v nervous of what I was going to find because 'a number of transgender organisations had helped' them write their guidance, but it seems pretty balanced guidance to me. Don't think any complaint on this article has a chance. There were links to two cases - one upholding a complaint against (I think) Rod Liddle, which seemed probably fair enough [he had made a crass comment about a blind transgender person] and one refusing a complaint about an article fairly similar to this one.

Did have the usual suspects on 'organisations who may be able to help' though.
