It's sad when an issue like this gets one, solitary MSM piece where the situation is accurately described makes you almost cry with relief, isn't it? Because all the other articles are misleading - either deliberately in service of an agenda, or because the journalist can't even be bothered to check.

Yes absolutely LangCleg. Your phrase about feet touching the ground (briefly) when you read something that confirms what you are seeing really captures what you are seeing but is being ignored or denied.

I also realised where else I recognised that feeling from. It was reading Margaret Atwood's the Handmaid's Tale, the novel, years ago now, way before the series came out.

Justabunchofcunts exactly! I wouldn't even mind if, say, the Daily Mail put up an accurate article and then ended with - "We hate feminists AND we hate transgenders so we don't give a shit who wins this particular fight" - I just want articles to represent what the various positions actually are.
