Upcoming study on reforming legal gender identity

This has seriously concerned me.
From their assertion that gender is ‘assigned at birth’ to them wanting to create a draft bill on gender identity with the findings. Even though it looks to be from a position of impartiality, the Trans lobby will be trying their hardest to influence the outcome I’m sure . We need to keep a very close eye on this .

Oh dear. They mix up gender and sex, as usual. They refer to gender assigned at birth in a way that makes it seem optional or arbitrary. There's no specific mention of sex discrimination or equality legislation.

And it all begs the question why anyone would want to legislate around peoples feelings, rather than be based in fact.

The bit about "limited male and female" roles makes me despair. They're only limited because society holds on to stupid sex based stereotypes when it's not necessary to do so!

It gets worse, the people running the study are firmly in the Trans camp. I think I can predict the outcome without the aid of a crystal ball .

Seems like a great idea - let's not assign gender at birth and instead just use sex, works for me!

What an absolutely worthless study. A flagship study that attempts to prove what it has already assumed will surely improve peoples' attitudes to University academia at the moment. Loughborough used to have some claim to being a good university for some subjects too. Clearly they're not at all worried about maintaining academic credibility any more.

So much money available. Who is bankrolling this?

I cant believe how stupid these so called academics are.
