Surely, someone identifying as a lion is doing it tongue in cheek to take the piss out of people identifying as trans?

That poor woman, offering to "rewire [her] thinking" to accept that humans can actually be lions.

In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality was tacitly denied by their philosophy.

Not at all. It’s called other kin. It’s huge online. They have conventions and everything.

Don't lions usually have better manes?
