Omg I am so depressed and alarmed at this documentary. I knew these robots existed but had no idea how advanced it all is. These horrible men creating their ultimate sex slaves who look and sound so human. Its like watching a horror movie, am I alone in feeling quite sick about this? Sick as in that feeling of dread you get when scared?

It's beyond disgusting.

This programme disturbed me more than I can express. I think how pleased all the men involved were with themselves about their 'amazing achievement' was repulsive. The AI doll on the show looked like she was supposed to be about 18 but the Chinese one definitely looked like it was meant to be younger which creeped me out even more. I genuinely despair of men when I watch things like this.

I found the Scottish voice very childlike but saying horrible sexual things, jarring and very disturbing. I also felt very uneasy about these dolls being pushed around in wheel chairs. Just wrong.

That may be the case initially, but the longer technology is around, the more it becomes normalised.

I remember when internet dating sites first appeared...all my friends would say that only losers would use them, now it has become the norm.

Let me explain, I'm in no way comparing internet dating with sex robots. Not at all. I'm just saying that as technology advances, things become seen as normal

Not to mention, how many men would have walked into sex shops years ago to buy porn on videos? Probably not huge numbers, due to the embarrassment/seedy nature of it. Now anyone can access it and it's becoming more widely used.
