I saw this yesterday. To be honest, I think he's right to criticise that tweet (not defending his choice of words ) and am pleased that he is talking about the transgender issues - it's only when the mainstream commentators are talking about it that it will gain political traction and the political parties currently supporting "transgender women are women #nodebate " may start actually looking at what is being said and realise that the objections to this are real and evidenced.
