New gender critical book, which includes chapters by GC Dad and Miranda Yardley. It is expensive, but looks really interesting.

The sample is here:

I guess it is more for the library than for the home!

Thanks for that Sense! :-)

I see that price planned to be £61.99, which is a tad expensive.

I also looked at the website of one of the editors:
www.heather-brunskell-evans.co.uk/
which has some interesting articles (but quite academic).

I'm just glad that some more academics (and others) are being able to start saying what so rapidly became unsayable!

Wonder how long before (as with the splendid book by Sheila Jeffreys), TRAs try to stop it being published. As regards Sheila Jeffreys and 'Gender Hurts', whilst googling I came across the most amazingly negative supposed 'review' of her book in Sexualities, an academic journal:
"Gender Hurts is fundamentally dishonest throughout, a work of vilifying propaganda rather than a serious study of the harms of ‘transgenderism’. Anyone with any knowledge of trans* issues will be revolted by the constant micro-aggressions and alienated by the incoherent and deceptive argument. The refusal to use preferred pronouns, stated as an important theoretical base (p. 9), is constantly jarring, and completely unnecessary except as a deliberate act of aggression."
This review is so scathing it amazes me! Of course, the vilification is because there are no actual arguments in here! We are supposed to just accept trans explanations of trans experience, and trans* perceptions of the violence of being mis-gendered.

Throw enough negative terms at it, and hopefully you're scare anyone away from reading it seems to be the tactic, and the review also gets TERF in. We are bad, very, VERY BAD, and you must never listen to a word we say in case you get infected............

Although the journal does contain some 'amusing' articles, which (as we might have suspected), discuss concepts such as the conventional sex based categorization (although they of course use gender) of sexual orientation is boring and old hat........Oh, and sleight of hand, homo/hetero is now just another boring binary like male and female. Damn biology, so boring and binary, small and large gametes, how boring and passe..............
If they weren't totally serious about all this bollocks (sorry, slipped into boring binary language there!) gonads, it would be amusing....................

It looks very interesting. I think Heather tweeted a discount code for 20% off. Check her twitter.
