I'm very glad that this GP is being investigated as some of the things I've read online about her were very concerning. I hope that the investigation is unbiased and fair.

I also am glad she is being investigated. I heard she was prescribing puberty blockers over phone/Skype consultations.

Puberty blockers have been proven to course a lot of health problems

And her 'expertise' was an on-line one course in 'gender studies' or some-such

My Dds friend at school is on hormones at 13. They have just returned to school as the opposite gender and is now doing pe with children of that sex.

Tbh school is pretty good and toilets are individual cubicles.

Getting changed for pe where they get changed together in male/female changing rooms would bother me a little bit if I'm completely honest and given the intake of the school (very religious but I'm not) I'm expecting a big fuss when it gets out.

Martha - I am not sure there will be that much fuss - it seems to be accepted without question. I know 3 individuals who have done this through my children - all late teens - and it seems to have been filtering down to the younger ones without question, over the last 5 years or so.

There has been so much in the press and on the radio saying that this is absolutely normal, with no questions asked, (including a very young child on radio 4, just before that court verdict that berated a mother doing the same thing), that you begin to think you have gone down a rabbit hole
