I decided this month to try a moon cup it says to steralise before use so I put it in the dishwasher as it was new and unused all was fine I had leaked through a tampax super the night before so thought i would give it ago in the morning no leakage great I removed the cup with some difficulty that little pulley isn't nearly long enough or maybe that's just what four kids and twins do to you I now have it in my fingers and it is pretty full from overnight ..weirdly this is kind of satisfying don't know why... I'm then struck with this sneeze cough splutter kind of thing that shakes my hand it looks like someone has been massacred in my en suite good Job it's a tiled wall takes be fifteen minutes to clean up whilst the kids yell at me through the door about breakfast the thing is I found the moon cup to be really comfortable no leakage ...unless you count throwing it up the door and wall how long do they last from the material they are made out of and can i get one with a longer pulley bit

I use on. You need to break the seal to remove it by sliding your finger up the side

Most people ignore the stem but and cut it off. You need to sort of push it down a bit, grasp the bottom, squeeze and twist to break the seal and get it out easily. And then empty it straight away!

Never ever ever pull it out ever. The stem is not for pulling. I've cut mine off completely. You need to squeeze it to break the seal then it will come out easily. Mine has lasted for 10 years now.
