Apologies if this has already been posted .

Sooo that's one way to stand up for women - forced oral penetration.
Words fail me

What an utterly disgusting individual.

BenLinusatemyhomework · 13/03/2017 18:02

I am agast that he is in a women's shelter and that anybody can see that as a reasonable situation to put women in.

hazeyjane · 13/03/2017 18:37

there are 3 words that enter my mind

cock
off
gobshite

QuentinSummers · 13/03/2017 18:54

Why do these twitter SJW types effectively beg for handouts? For what? So flipping annoying.

FloraFox · 13/03/2017 18:57

The shelter is run by the Catholic Church and he describes himself as an atheist activist. Why are people applauding this absolute batshit nonsense?

CharlieSierra · 13/03/2017 18:58

BenLinus that is what self determination will achieve. Maria Miller can envisage no situation where this would be a problem, according to herself.

BenLinusatemyhomework · 13/03/2017 19:04

Reading DM's twitter and blogs... for a professional atheist, there is an awful lot of belief in Danielle's world.

And for someone who seems to find Trumps "Grab them by the pussy" comment so abhorrent to not see the absurdity of writing "suck my dick" on International Women's Day is frankly bewildering - but there you go. I'm sure it's perfectly logical in Humpty Dumpty land, or whatever parallel universe we seem to have slipped over to.

BenLinusatemyhomework · 13/03/2017 19:12

CharlieSierra - The thought that I am having more and more, is that it is not that they can't see, or don't understand the implications but that they are quite happy for this shit to happen because it all serves a greater agenda.

They want to repeal women's rights. They want to render language meaningless. They want to polarise society - they can't do it with religion so much (still trying with the Christian/Muslim agenda but it doesn't have the traction it once had) so they are creating new religions.

Same shit, different century.

MyBeloved · 13/03/2017 19:24

I'm, frankly, gobsmacked at how this is playing out. It's like some weird, parallel universe.

Surely a shelter for vulnerable women and children should be the safest of all places - not somewhere that allows an intact male to take the place of one of those it was originally intended for, whilst publicly via social media using misogynistic language - suggestive of sexual violence? Outrageous!

My daughter is 16 and thus far refuses to acknowledge this is a problem. I fear for our daughters and beyond.

DJBaggySmalls · 13/03/2017 19:25

He has to be an MRA troll. He isnt consistent in anything he believes, says or does.
They hate women, and thats all I get from him is his contempt.

Broken11Girl · 13/03/2017 19:29

WTF Sad
I reached peak trans. MN has certainly contributed to that. This shit has to stop.

Joffmognum · 13/03/2017 19:39

I don't doubt they're trans, but I have to say, I've never seen a trans man tell people to "shut up and lick my pussy". Hmm

TheCrowFromBelow · 13/03/2017 19:45

DM is a twat. An aggressive, entitled twat.
I cannot believe that DM has been given a space in a women's shelter.
That tweet is 100% aggressive male.

Terfinator · 13/03/2017 22:22

I donate £5 a month to my local women's shelter. It feels awful to say, but if they housed someone like this, I'd stop funding them! Sad

DickToPhone · 13/03/2017 23:38

but laws in many jurisdictions make it illegal for them to refuse.

They could face the choice that Christian adoption agencies had - take in men or close down.

JungleInTheRumble · 14/03/2017 05:44

If this is true it's insane. I feel so sorry for those women in that homeless shelter.

What makes DM a woman? Personally I would feel frightened and infringed upon if someone who looks so male was in a women's space. I like having my women's dr's surgery, restrooms, gym etc. I limit contact with unfamiliar men as much as possible because they make me on edge.

Men need to sort out their own problems rather than a few of them trying to jump ship into women's spaces - I assume the reason they want to do so is because women's spaces are regarded as less violent, intimidating etc. Newsflash: that's the case because men aren't allowed in!

Honeyandfizz · 14/03/2017 06:05

Fuck me I've seen it all now Shock

Pleasejustgetdressed · 14/03/2017 06:13

Vulgar and uncalled for tweet, but equally obviously not about 'forced oral penetration'. Unless you think that anyone who posts 'I could murder my SIL for ruining Christmas' is posting death threats.

Sulis87 · 14/03/2017 06:42

Pleasejustgetdressed - in my opinion there is a difference between wishing to 'murder' your SIL - clearly banter - and expressing the wish to sexually assault all women who disagree with you. Look at twitter.com/terfisaslur - there are many, many people who want to become women, but who also appear to hate women and say that they wish them physical harm. It doesn't feel like banter to me, and DM's comment is certainly not a one off.

Pleasejustgetdressed · 14/03/2017 06:51

Fair point Sulis87 - but 'can suck my dick' is also widely used to mean 'can fuck off'. It's a hell of a jump to turn it into 'forced oral penetration'.

HiDBandSIL · 14/03/2017 07:03

Words fail me. Angry

picklemepopcorn · 14/03/2017 07:05

Telling someone to 'suck my dick' is an extremely aggressive, extremely male insult.
If misgendering is 'literal violence' then 'suck my dick' is literal coerced penetration.

M0stlyBowlingHedgehog · 14/03/2017 07:15

I cannot imagine a decent man saying "suck my dick" to my face, even as banter. I can, however, think of instances of unpleasant men saying this - because they mean it precisely as a reminder of the fact that I, as a woman, am vulnerable to sexual assault in a way they aren't. It's one of those acts of aggression dressed up as banter that a certain sort of bully is very fond of. Because the difference between that and "I'd like to murder my sister in law" is that the latter happens so rarely it makes the front pages - it's clearly a joke. Sexual assault happens to one in four of us. There's a fairly solid body of reseach which puts the prevalence of male perpetrators at round about the 5 or 6% mark. So once you take into account the fact that this (in my experience) is just not the sort of "joke" a decent man makes, when a man says this to you, there is a fairly high chance he means it.

Would you be so sanguine about a white person choosing black history day to make jokes about police brutality against black people, or about lynching?

Sulis87 · 14/03/2017 07:16

Do women ever say 'suck my dick'? It's a repulsive term and feels additionally sinister when said by a fully intact male who claims to be a woman.

I feel strongly that people who use this language do not want to 'be' women because they like us, respect us or want to emulate us. What I hear is that they hate us and want to take something away from us - our identity, our rights, our freedom of speech.

WobblyLegs5 · 14/03/2017 07:47

Women definately say it sometimes-Adel? ?- but they don't actually have a penis so there's no intention or threat behind it, with dm there is.
