I haven't read a teen magazine in two decades so I have no idea if they've all moved on from compulsory heterosexuality and passing the patriarchal fuckability test, but this in Teen Vogue made me a happy feminist.

Donald Trump is gas lighting America and deliberately undermining the very foundation of our freedom tnvge.co/ztJfuPU by @laurenduca

That's a really good piece. Sad that they are getting heat from the usual suspects though.

I was extremely impressed by the article which I saw via Facebook and I found it very interesting that the terms they used "gas lighting" "boiling frog" etc are all terms I more commonly see in discussions about domestic abuse.

The fact the terms are only minimally explained makes me wonder whether Teen Vogue address actual relationship issues in their regular coverage - does anyone know? It would be rather wonderful if they had a feminist editor who was slipping in covert feminist reading between the make up tips...

Wow that's impressive foTeen Vogue. I've never read it once in my life but way to go. Absolutely furiously written.

TeenVogue has got very aware in the past few months. Not sure if it has always been like this but my niece reads it and it has a lot of articles around consent, race and politics. Reminds me more of the Jane and Ms articles than a More or Just Seventeen mag. This is article in particular is fantastic.
