Pornhub donating to breast cancer charity

Apparently theyve done this before but they announced yesterday they intend to donate $0.01 for every video watched to an as yet unnamed breast cancer charity. They have also engaged an adult actress to demonstrate how to perform a self breast exam.

Im sure i'm not the only one a bit about this.

Interesting. I went off pornhub as I found their labelling of videos a tad misogynistic. I might revisit and see if the same conditions still pertain.

It's a little bit ironic in a way considering that a lot of the boobs that the blokes will be dribbling over are silicon anyway.

It's just a click bait marketing ploy so they can pretend they are ethical and all round good guys - similar to the tobacco companies who used to try and contribute to cancer research years ago when I worked for a cancer charity.

And the "adult" actress do the demo will almost certainly come from a demographic least likely to get breast cancer i.e. probably early 20s.

Their cynicism is blatant.

It's incredibly cynical.

Like they give a fuck about female bodies when they aren't healthy (unless it's damage being done for entertainment).

I'm sure they couldn't give a toss about the physical or mental health of the men in the films they show either, as long as they are able to draw in an audience.

It's like when the Sun said that Page 3 was all great for breast cancer (or whatever it was the did).

It's in the same greedy vein as The Scum's coppafeel bullshit that disappeared mighty quick

Pretend to give a shit about cancer to make men feel slightly better about watching women being hurt. Must give them a lovely warm glow inside.
