Does anyone have a good link to an article about victim blaming?

Sorry, I've tried to find one but I keep stumbling across the opposite.

My argument is that telling a woman not to put herself in a vulnerable position through alcohol/location is victim blaming. It hurts to argue it personally, and I'd rather just link to an eloquent rhetorician if possible. Thank you.

:) I am and it is, but I can never just let it lie. It's particularly irritating coming from someone who you thought was one of the good guys. I suppose if I didn't believe that it wouldn't be worth the argument.

It's the old, "I'm not victim blaming, but..."

Followed by "you're misrepresenting me, I'm not victim blaming".

I can't see how to say "I, as a victim, feel blamed, so it blooming is" without having to say that I've been a victim. And god I hate that word.

This has just been posted on a room of our own, but it's by one of my favourite feminist bloggers.

It's about how we view rape victims/survivors but this is all bound up in victim blaming as well.
