Does anyone have any links to online sources of information on machismo/marianismo/patriarchal bargain that are written in a simple, easy to understand way (for A level students, not specialising in sociology)? Am teaching a book in a foreign language with the theme of machismo and just want some background reading for myself and hopefully for students. Everything I have is very academic and just beyond what they need. Googling throws up way too much to make sense of!
