Good article on how feminist critiques of misogynist institutions are framed as 'shaming' and 'judging' women - thus conveniently ensuring feminists can never challenge any social structures without being accused of hating on other women.

That's a very interesting piece. I really like the feminist current blog, Meghan Murphy makes a lot of sense.

I love the comment on this quote:

“Whatever choice a woman is making and she is the one deciding to do — reclaiming the agency behind the decision to do…”

Was that supposed to mean something? It sounds like liberish (liberal + giberish) to me.

IMO the 'debate' on validity of personal agency will grow to become as bloody and vicious as the feminist sex wars fought in times of yore.

scallopsrgreat · 11/04/2014 13:55

What feminist sex wars? How many were killed? Why do I not know about this?

Grin Buffy

Yes thighs and calves big and muscular, knees tiny, ankles tiny and overly flexible by the looks of it. I feel the male gaze may have been utilised when drawing that.

Surely not!
