From a new OECD survey that indicates the gender gap in unpaid domestic labour shows little sign of closing. Just in time for International Women's Day

I wish I hadn't clicked the DM and Telegraph links. Now I have the rage. And the comments ....

So uk men have more leisure time but the headline is abitt uk women being "leisure queens".

Eight hours sleeping and 1 hour eating. Hardly frivolities! And where are these three-hours-a-day jobs? Because I could really do with one.

It's rubbish. "Women, look, you get loads of leisure time! So it doesn't matter if men have more or do less housework or childcare!"

I also don't remember the last time I got eight hours sleep...

How fucking annoying, for so many reasons. I hate phrases like "help out with" housework as it assumes it was a woman's job in the first place. As for all this leisure - what does having the radio on whilst ironing, or knitting watching TV count as? And baths are not 'leisure', they are wadhing!
