So sick of advertisements aimed at children

All of the ones for slime, horrible experiments, science kits etc. have a boy scaring his sister (and quite often the mother too) with his 'creation'

Reinforcing the idea that: girls have no sense of humour and don't like gross stuff (try telling that to DD)

There's a particularly awful one with a girl dressed head to toe in pink, disgusted at her brother making some horrible experiment

My dd loves all of this stuff, just the same as her brother, so why is she excluded in adverts?

I've got my DNiece a Cambridge Brainbox electronics set for Christmas. It has a girl on the box and 500 different things to build inside. It looks ace. Advertising execs need to remove capita from rectum and realise that just as many girls as boys like icky stuff, and conversely, that just as many girls as boys hate it.

Saw an ad. for Mr Kipling's cakes where it is clear that the little girl has built a snowman over her brother. Nice bit of role reversal there (not that I am suggesting anyone should encase their sibling in a snowman) Grin
