To be honest, most of them look like sex offender 'remarks' to me - who would ever think it's acceptable to say 'I think girls are like plasticine, if you warm them up you can do anything you want with them.' ?!

You only have to read some of the comments on the website that recently trolled MN to get an idea how some men view women.

Weirdly, I got every one right. I can't tell if that is because I have worked in the field (with ex-offenders) or because my radar is turned up so high for media bullshit. What is actually interesting about this is that 'rape culture' is derided by some sections of society, yet this is a 'normal' set of quotes from 'normal' magazines.

Well, I got nearly every one wrong. I agree with Molly, most of them do sound like comments made by sex offenders. If you think about the very low conviction rates for rape in this country, then surely there must be far more rapists/potential rapists 'out there' living 'normal' lives rather than being convicted sex offenders. Surely this is just further proof of the rape culture we live in.
