A friend posted this link to a Radio 4 interview. It's with two wonderful articulate, intelligent 20-something women, one from Brazil, one from Turkey, about their take on the riots in their respective countries.

It's well worth a listen. The news is on first though so skip straight to 5:40.

Thank you. I think it's interesting the way that they both felt that being governed by "older men" was unacceptable as it mirrors, on a political scale, many domestic situations. Also neither women are arguing in their first language!

Fantastic, isn't it. Perhaps women, and even men, since these riots are certainly not women-specific, all over the world are sick of being told what to do by old men.

David Cameron is 46. Is that "old"? Please say it's not.

Erm.........I think to the two 20 something women interviewed, sadly, yes it is. Smile
