So apparently, women suffer in all marriages, all husbands beat their wives and women should just suck it up and not make it public.

How on earth is this man still in office?

Did you not read the article, Annie? The husband "does good business" and "will take care of her." She is obviously being totally unreasonable in wanting to leave a violent abuser with her children. :(

Every time I open one of these articles I come away feeling a little bit more depressed.

Too darned right he's taking care of her.

What I want to know, if what kind of insecure knobbers these men are that they get their jollies whaling on someone half their size.
