According to Pussy Riot. Should either, or both, of my daughters end up being so feared by the government I would be ultra proud of them and their cohorts.

Thanks SGM. I see the Amnesty case sheet asks for appeals before 24 July, presumably in hope of getting the case dropped. Too late for that now so I will keep an eye on the trial and write in if they're convicted.

Putin is visiting the UK arriving today. UK musicians inc Jarvis Cocker, Pet Shop Boys, Martha Wainwright have written an open letter to him re the importance of freedom and right to musical protest re Pussy Riot , and the matter is said to be raised by David Cameron: Music Week article
