My son has to research and do a biography of an inspirational woman in history. I wondered who you feel inspired by?

Aphra Behn Novelist (long before Daniel Defoe and the 'first' English novel) , traveler, anti-slavery campaigner, spy, dramatist and all round intellectual.

Grace Darling and Edith Cavell

Peggy Ollerenshaw. She showed great determination to succeed despite her working class roots, and finally became a Yellowcoat.
