Fighting cuts to help victims of abuse

Here are a couple of links brought to my attention by some lovely feminists on this board who are doing their best to fight back against the relentless onslaught of cuts to domestic abuse funding.

Here is a petition asking the government to refrain from making further cuts to domestic violence resources.

Here is a link to email your MP about the bill concerning legal aid for cases of DV, which goes back to parliament next week.

I and Ann Other MNetter were on a march/walk on Friday which I'd got the local anti-cuts group to support
They will campaign against all cuts to refuges, DV support etc
Our local Tory MP and councillor had the bloody nerve to come on the march after his govt made the cuts now being implemented by him on the local council.
