Based on peoples reactions etc and a conversation the other day. about boobgate and poor frankie lol.

Everyone just said oh its just a laugh it was funny, however he did look visibly uncomfortable and I said If denise had been a dennis and frankie and fran I do believe the reaction would have been very different which in my view is hypocritical as both action would have been for the same reason * to get a reaction.
Everyone disagreed and maintained it was very different, would liek to hear some views on this section about it , am I wrong?

(excuse bad grammar)

I'm quite out of touch these days, but there used to be two different offences of indecent exposure, one at common law, in which there was no sexual intent, and could be committed by either sex (i.e. mooning, streaking etc), and the other under the Vagrancy Act?? which was aimed at the sexually explicit and intentional actions of a man exposing himself to a female.

The definition for the 2nd could always be remembered by WOLO Dickie Bird.
A man Wilfully, Openly, Lewdly & Obscenely exposes his person (Dickie) with intention to insult a female (Bird).

Disclaimer - I don't normally refer to women as birds, only in the context of remembering legal definitions.

No more Vagrancy Act in these enlightened days, now it's the Sexual Offences Act if it's definitely sexual, or the Public Order Act if someone is just being a twit.
