i read a version of this story in today's Metro but can only find a link on the DM www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2051005/Working-women-look-best-just-hours-22-minutes-morning.html

the icing on the cake being according to the survery 'By contrast, more than half of the 2,000 men polled reckon they look 'great' all day.'

They should get their dh to do their hair with the buzzy clippers and then it would be so short they wouldn't need to keep brushing it during the day. Sorted.

I don't mind feeling 'bedraggled' by lunchtime as I start off that way. My morning routine involves dressing in clothes and usually remembering to brush my hair. I am clean, that's the main thing surely? I am bored to tears by excessive grooming, my time is valuable to me and my children and I refuse to waste it. I still look nice. Bollocks the lot of it.

Okay, I'm going to whisper this so that dh doesn't cotton on to the bad deal he's getting - blow drying my hair and putting a face on takes me away from getting the kids ready.

I like my face. That doesn't actually change by the end of the day.

Looking tired is the killer.
