Because, y'know... DV is an art

So much sickens me about this. This wasn't done for an ad campaign, or as part of a film where they raise awareness of DV (eg; Waitress). This is just glamourising domestic violence. And it's making me bloody sick to see how many people think this is acceptable.

I'm pretty sure none of the refuges I've been in would accept money from the sale of these photos.

I'm also hoping Glamour would turn down funds from the sale of the images.

In fact I'd be worried if anyone bought them in the first place.

isn't really the answer. Just to clarify, I don't think it's right to sell them off for DV charities.

A celebrity and high profile photographer could work together and use their profiles to raise awareness and money for DV refuges. However it would have to be done very carefully and certainly not like this. It seems celebs will come out for every cause with the exception of this one. Even those (Rihanna) who have been victim of this dont seem to speak out about it.

There was a campaign about five years back, which did feature celebs made up to look like victims of DV, as part of raising awareness about the issue.
