Of course it is possible to be happy as a single parent but given the huge shock you've had I'm not sure you'll believe it. You poor, poor thing. Do you have help and support? Are you sure that he's gone forever and it's beyond being repaired?

I would restart it in relationships. You will get a lot of advice and support from others who've been through similar things
