Is anyone going to 'A conducive context? Misogyny, inequality and violence'?

It's a one day conference, I just got the Facebook invite, as I'm sure many of you did via LFN.

I think I am going to attend - schedule permitting - as I am going to focus my dissertation next year on the evolution of feminism (yet to narrow down entirely how to focus it yet). Just wondered if anyone from here was going?

Hi Aliwally, nice of you to pop in (stay!!! it's great here, we have our own feminist section and everything see). As it's during the working day will there be a lunchtime event or anything afterwards, that people working nearby could come to?

Hi there - thanks for your welcome! We're not holding a separate lunchtime event as such, but there will be exhibition stands, a film installation and lots of networking, so if you can't make the whole day, do please pop along at lunchtime. Just let us know by email [email protected] if this is your plan so we can let you into the building and also give you precise directions. If you want to eat lunch with us we can charge just a small fee to cover catering. Do get in touch.

I'm coming!! My mum couldn't have DS but she offered to pay for the childminder for the day - asked CM today and she's happy that DS will be okay so I've just booked the train tickets and sent my form off for a place at the conference! :)
