@nailak I thought the same as you at first but then thought it does describe a lot of the difference between male and female promiscuity. If a man has lots of sex with different women, he's a 'playa' etc but if it's a woman in that situation, she's a whore or worse.

I don't think people do things when they are drunk that they really don't want to do. They simply do things that, if they hadn't been drinking, they would have wanted to do but decided it was not worth it because there are downsides as well as upsides.

It's sad that women have to say "I only slept with him because I was drunk" when actually they just thought it seemed like a good idea at the time. A man in the same situation wouldn't need an excuse.

In my mind this links to the 'Slut walks'. If dressing provocatively and/or having consensual sex means a woman is a slut, then some women are sluts. But so what? They should be allowed to be.
