A charity is looking for people to foster pets belonging to victims who are afraid to leave their homes in case their pets are harmed:

Dog foster carers still needed

I saw this on tv. the one show?
Something I may look at when the children are older.

I'm in the process of moving, but I think I'll look into volunteering once I'm settled.

BTW, it might be an idea to post this in the Dog House too, there are lots of animal lovers there who might want to help out.
