Brilliant article by Lisa Ansell in which she shows how women will suffer most from the changes proposed. Angry Sad

I've just read the comment from SpeaksForBoskone on the first page of comments.

What a *@!$.

Fucking hell the range of woman hating comments in CiF is really quite frightening.

They really hate women, don't they?

If a political party describes themselves as 'pro-family', that should be our clue to start running as fast as we can in the opposite direction. Honestly, how do they think single mothers became single mothers? Do they think that single mothers abandoned healthy and happy relationships in order to raise children alone? Heh, probably.

I read some of the comments ''if a woman has a violent husband she should call the police'' Clueless fuckers.

A close friend of mine was in a very abusive relationship, her ex threatened to kill her but she managed to lock herself in her room and call the police. 3 hours later they turned up by which time her ex was as calm and as cool as a cucumber. ''We'd just been having an argument, it got a little out of hand but you know how it is''.

A couple of years later that same friend witnesses a young guy being beaten up, she phones the police and they were there in minutes.

Why are there so many people who seem to have right ring beliefs (abolish the welfare state etc) posting on the guardian comments board?

Just trolling is it?

I wonder how many left wing trolls they get on the right wing rags Confused

I think all of this we'll have to wait and see how it comes out in the wash. The NHS, the benefits changes, the funding changes, the fiscal policy etc etc everything.

Personally I think that the entire country is going to be utterly fucked with the vast majority of people grovelling around in abject misery and a few super-rich at the top rolling around in quails eggs and laughing, but then i'm not a ray of sunshine when it comes to looking at this stuff.
