Dave Williams how old do u have to be to count as a child?
theposieparker Not sure, but your parents have to have serious issues if they take you to Hooters.....yuck, a place where 2011 has forgotten. Who would want to take a child there, vile objectification.

posie Objectification is not in the eyes of the girls......

posie Did you know Hooters girls have to sign away the right to work in an environment that is free from sexual hostility?
DaveWilliams Sounds like u applied and got turned down for not being "up to standard" and are now quite bitter about it... lol

BethO'Connor Dave, that's silly to say something like that. That's rude x

DaveWilliams Also... Beth, AMAZING hooters :-) haha

Posie But you should Beth, it's your place of work. You shouldn't have to sign an employment contract that takes away your right to work in an environment free from sexual hostility. Beth do you not mind that when people leave Hooters that they that they are more likely to comment on your figure than your service? Or that if, like an American Hooters girl, you got pregnant or were a victim of domestic violence you would be sacked? Or like the manager in the USA that forced his 'girls' to bend over and eat beans with no hands to see who left first?...

Posie So aptly put by Dave.....that's your customer right there. He thinks that anyone who objects to Hooters is jealous and then comments on your breasts....no respect for you as an individual at all.....

Posie Oh Beth, I wouldn't get the job or want it. I think 36 years old is past it in your job!! I'm not telling you how to feel about it, I just think it's very sad that anyone has to be objectified to make a living. Seems like we're moving backwards when it comes to how we treat women, I would be very disappointed if my daughter thought that that's all she was worth.

BethO'Connor I'm a piano teacher too. Not 'just a waitress'.

BethO'Connor I'm being sensible and actually saving money before going to university. I don't need the job, i'm just being clever rather than landing myself in debt.

SimonAllard I been to hooters all over the world first was in new York, i was shocked thinking it be typical lads place with cheap tarty girls, but it's not, it is actually a family restaurant and every time I go now it is with family as the service and food is great value and non fault-able, bar the super bowl Sunday that's just messy lol

WillHall Every person I know (male and female) who has had the views expressed by Kellie and then visited Hooters has changed their mind. The girls aren't trashy bimbos who sell themselves, they are friendly and intelligent people. Anyone who just wants to letch over scantily clad women can easily do that in a strip club or indeed on a Saturday night on Corn Street. Personally, I go to Hooters because its relaxed, they serve tasty no nonsense food, cold beer, show good sporting events and their serving staff are 5 times more attentive and friendly than the staff in the vast majority of other restaurants around Bristol. If I had kids, I'd happily take them there

HelenBlack Posie - my daughter works at Hooters and I am very proud of her. It is not 'all she is worth' although certainly nothing to be ashamed of. She is intelligent, kind and working hard to fund university. Do not steryotype all because of your narrow minded beliefs.

Posie However you 'dress it up' Hooters is fundamentally about objectifying women....hence the name 'Hooters', it may as well be called 'tits'. Perhaps the more human face, ie when you work in the restaurant, isn't too bad, perhaps the sexism is...

AaronDorrington Posie, get a life... If you dislike hooters and the way they run their business why add them on FB, go and join some hate group and you can all be sad together. I'm sure you have more important stuff to be doing than trying to degrade a company, actually on the other hand maybe your life is actually that boring that it is what keeps you entertained, if so then I feel sorry for you. Bye.

NatalieBlack Hooters is Hooters, its the concept that made it famous and what keeps the millions of customers coming through the door. Why not take your old fashioned feminist views to the 'say no to Hooters' facebook page instead of the fan page?! I work at Hooters, but it isn't what defines me...and frankly I'm pretty insulted! I'm not a sexual object, and working at Hooters certainly doesn't make me one!

JoannaJohnsonHollis Posie, really if you don't like it why are you wasting your time on this site?? I have taken my young children to hooters twice and they loved it. All the girls made them feel welcome and played and danced with them. This is 2011 for god sake. Go Hooters and lets have some more opening!!

DandeCeeCoakes Posie, I take deep offence to what you have wrote, You are implying I have serious issues because I take my kids to Hooters? Have you actually ever been to Hooters? I first went a couple years back up in Nottingham and was surprised to find that it was a really friendly welcoming atmosphere and the main reason I go there is because the food is bloody gorgeous. I have been to many restaurants and none compare to hooters. Kids being kids they like to mess around and at Hooters that isn't frowned upon like it is at most places, The staff are very polite and interactive unlike a lot of places and they actually love working at Hooters. Took my kids tonight and they are already asking me when they can go again. Try it out and go in with a open mind and you may be pleasantly surprised!!!...
