Am I the only one who finds the Littlewoods ad with Colleen Rooney totally ridiculous?

I want to throw things at the TV when I see

My 8yo DD commented on it by saying, "That is silly. You don't go to college to learn how to put on make-up. You go to learn maths and stuff".

Is that really all the ad men could come up with?

I dont 'get' it either- the song doesnt go with the actions and its all a bit daft.

It's no dafter than any other ad with gels in their underwear.

It annoys me that the only reason the girls go to school/college is to look good.

It's "boot camp." It's a joke.

I'd forgotten about this ad! Yes a few seconds in I thought I'll just wait to see what company this is so I know never to shop there.

Yes, it's stupid - but it has Colleen Rooney in it and it's advertising Littlewoods. 'Nuff said

I am trying to bring her up to notice these things, so was quite impressed. We had to battle to get DH to agree that both DS and DD could go to golf lessons. Well, not so much battle but it never occurred to him.
