So. This widow will be stoned to death for apparently being with men after the death of her husband plus she will be flogged because a photo appeared in a newspaper claiming it was her - without a headscarf - except it turned out not to be her anyway.

It is a little tiresome that we cannot condemn a disgusting action without having to talk about some blame coming to the West and discussing Oil. Oil is a fair thing to get heated about, without it we would all starve and our economies would grind to a halt. So before we start avoiding the issue that in countries like Iran women are treated terribly let's remember, we all rely on Oil and Saudi is an ally that the West need. Human life on an individual basis is not worth the lives of millions...

I know many Iranians who choose to live here because life is so awful, even with lots of money, for women in Iran.
