Hair loss and breakage

I am 46 and a woman. I was on Mounjaro and slowly and steadily lost weight, I’ve been off it for a few months now and so I’m not quickly losing or anything like that.
I am aware I am at the age for perimenopause as well.
I suffer with itchy dandruff and have a couple of red patches on my face which I’ve read could be sebbhoeric dermatitis. I am using t gel.

my hair 😔😔it’s falling out and has been for a few weeks and now I’ve noticed it’s also breaking off. I am starting to see little patches where it’s shed. I think I have some baby hairs growing in a few places but still shedding and breaking.
I bought minoxidil but scared to use it because I know it initially causes more shedding.

I am waiting to see a doctor to beg for hrt but there is a nurse gatekeeping that I can’t get past.

any experience of hair loss/ shedding/ breakage/ what can do or any knowledge of anything at all please help me.

I’ve reached my limit this is the final straw 😢

I am your age and on HRT. My hair is much thinner than it was and it breaks particularly at the front, but only on one side (weirdly not the side I sleep on). Things my hairdresser recommended: sleeping in a silk bonnet, champo hair serum (expensive haven’t bought), and collagen (which I already take and it hasn’t made a difference). Things I think have helped: the bonnet a bit. Colour wow kale cocktail applied on wet hair, allowing to dry on its own a bit, then ‘activating’ with a quick blast of the hair dryer. Deep hair masks twice a week (I like Aussie oh my gloss). Letting it dry naturally wherever possible and not using straighteners more than once a week. None of those have been 100% solutions but I have seen less hair go down the shower drain.
