warning! Graphic blood photo
I had my cervical ectropion cauterised on Sunday afternoon. It’s Friday evening now.
It was done with Silver nitrate I believe.
I’ve had all of the standard/expected brownish/greyish discharge with a bit of spotting etc. but tonight, I went to the toilet and wiped and there was so much fresh red blood with a big blood clot too. This wasn’t mention in the aftercare stuff. Should I be concerned? Do I need to seek medical advice?

it’s probably worth mentioning that I had the procedure on day 6 of my period. It was one of the most abnormal periods I’ve ever had. The day before the procedure (the Saturday) I had the heaviest bleeding I had ever had. Soaking through a pad every 90 mins and huge clots. I mentioned all of this to the gynaecologist and he wasn’t concerned at all. This gush of bleeding looks like what I had then. Possibly linked? I know I shouldn’t get my medical advice online but it’s Friday night in the UK.
many thanks to anyone that picks this up! I’m feeling a bit anxious tbh!
