Lump on labia minora. Not Bartholin's cyst

Noticed a small painful lump last week on my labia but nearer to the top/ clitoris area. I noticed it as it was bleeding a little bit then each day the lump got bigger but didn't bleed again.

It's probably about 1.5cm now. It's really itchy and sore to touch. Saw the GP yesterday who didn't know what it was, said its not a Bartholin's cyst and that it felt like fibrous tissue. Was prescribed Trimovate cream and told to come back if it gets bigger.

I've only applied the cream twice but that seems to be making the itching worse.

Anyone else had a lump/ cyst like this? Will it just go away on its own? It's stressing me out as its uncomfortable and I'm scared it's going to get bigger.

Try a bath with Epsom salts, that will help with any swelling. It could be a blocked gland.

Yep. I’ve had a couple of these. The itching is what made me notice them, as they were actually quite small (maybe smaller than the size of a pea?) They were cysts and, in my case, hormone related. I got them in early pregnancy- both times before I even knew I was pregnant. I recall that I got antibiotics one of the times…

I have 3 fatty lumps, confirmed by a surgeon. He offered me removal but I didn't fancy walking round like John Wayne and the pain involved

@Mydogisagentlemanwere yours painful or itchy? As I'm not sure if this is a cyst or a fatty lump. Its just so annoying and uncomfortable!

@justsayingthatI have recently been diagnosed with PCOS so could be a hormone thing. Did yours go away eventually?

Try a warm flannel compress 4 times per day for a few minutes and see if it goes down (might take a few weeks)

Mine aren't itchy or painful, just irritatingly 'there'

I got this during my first pregnancy and a week or 2 pp with my 2nd. They didn’t hurt though. Took a good few months for them to completely disappear but put them down to hormones!
