Moring,

I’ve been using patches for a few years but my levels are low so my HRT lady suggested moving to gal as she thought I may not be absorbing the patch anymore (symptoms creeping back as well)

I’ve had the last 2 days using the gel split dose and even on day one I started feeling like tingling in my jaw area, felt off like a bit dizzy and felt a bit wheezy. It’s cold season and I just though maybe I’m coming down with something, and yesterday I had similar felt heart rate up and itching again and the classic sore throat from hayfever, in fact it just felt like odd hayfever!

I also had a big spike in anxious thoughts and was edgy all day. I’ve woken up today and can’t chat to her but have decided to pop a patch on later and chat to her on Monday about these symptoms.

the symptoms were almost instant and I couldn’t make any other factors in my day fit the pattern.

For some reason in my phone I can’t scroll to correct some spellings! So I mean “morning” and “gel”

Depends on how intolerable you find it. I’ve switched HRT a few times and I get symptoms before it settles after a few weeks. Chat to your provider. For me, it took a few goes the first time before I decided I needed to ride it through before it got better. I had Hayfever symptoms and racing heart. Both settled eventually.
