Cervical ectropion treatment

I’m having my cervical ectropion treated at the weekend. I think they’re freezing it? I’m just wondering what others experiences of this has been? Apparently it’s just ‘mild period cramps’ and that’s it but the NHS describes many women’s health treatments as having this which I know can be bulls**t.
I just want to be realistic. I’m having it done late afternoon on the Sunday.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I had this done about ten years ago now. It was fine, no real pain afterwards. I believe it is frozen, yes. You do get a sort of watery discharge for a few days afterwards, I suppose because of the freezing process (?) but other than that I had no issues. Good luck, I reckon you’ll be fine 🙂
