Can continuous HRT make your periods worse? I started continuous HRT three months ago and my periods since have been heavier. Is this normal?

I flooded at work today onto my lovely cream office chair so had to cover it with a scarf I keep in the office (will go in early tomorrow to clean it) and leave early so I could come home and get changed. It happened last month as well except that time I was thankfully at home.

I had exactly the same and nausea/cramps that felt like labour pain, having never really had period pain in my life before.

I ended up getting a Mirena to settle everything down.
