Dental advice please help me

Hi I’ve been the dentist with infected root canal tooth three times in the last three weeks he keeps giving me antibiotics.
I go to France Thursday driving not flying and want this tooth out I’ve asked he refused as was close to my hols two weeks ago I wasn’t happy it hurts.
The tablets make me feel dog sick and I’m tired of taking them now I’m so upset I’ve not been away for years and this one time I’m in this mess. The tooth is still hurting on and off throbbing and the sickness I’m getting off these meds I can barely eat :-(
I want to go somewhere else tomorrow and get this tooth removed it’s a top molar but im worried of dry socket or something happening while im away I don’t know what to do im so upset I can’t look forward ti this holiday at all now and just don’t even want to go anymore.
What shall I do get this out and take the chance and rest tomorrow afterward or leave it keep taking the disgusting pills and feel sick till Monday when I’m back he said he will remove it Tuesday but I want it done tomorrow. Help me please can’t believe this.

I have no advice but wanted to extend my sympathy. Having had hideous tooth infections in the past, I can honestly say there’s nothing worse. And I have had drug free labours..

Are you taking amoxicillin as well as metronidazole? That’s what I was prescribed. I was off my head with the pain and the only thing that lessened it somewhat was Paramol which you have to get from a pharmacy.

I would see a different dentist tomorrow to see what they say about removing it.

Aww you poor thing. I'm not sure that they would want to remove the tooth while it was infected honestly.

Dry socket is less likely for top teeth but they usually like to clear up infection before removal

If its still infected I believe the anaesthetic injection will not work numbing the area and can risk the infection spreading. ( maybe wrong)

No they can’t remove it as I had a bad infection in my wisdom and was on the floor crying and they took it out for me there and then at this expensive place where I might go tomorrow. It’s less painful than it was but still throbs on and off and it’s scary I’ve had this pain before and I would rather give birth again.
The tablets are so harsh I’m so sick from them sick to the stomach. It’s a myth that you won’t go numb if there’s an infection.

It feels like it’s helped don’t get me wrong but it could flare up again while I’m away the root is dead in there as it’s a crowned tooth and been worked on before.

I can’t take cillin meds I’m on the M one by day three I want to projectile vomit on it. I might just go there and ask them to X-ray and their advice.
