Post piles - skin tag

Like lots of women I developed piles during pregnancy. Fast forward years later and they come and go now. I understand how to treat them with cream, suppositories and a healthy diet etc.

But I think I’ve got an anal skin tag - resulting from one of the little piles that has shrunk but just stretched my skin. Does anyone else have this? As I’ve read no cure, just wanted to feel like I’m not alone!

can’t believe how much pregnancy and aging changes the literal look of your butt and vagina!

I have this too OP. The joys of 2 kids and lots of constipation especially when pregnant. They also seem to swell up too after I do a poo especially if it's hard to come out (that area feels swollen when I have a shower after and I'm cleaning that area and I can kind of pop them back in - they seem to come and go). When all is calm and I look in the mirror I have a little pink skin tag. Not very attractive unfortunately. I think you can get surgery if you go private but the NHS doesn't do anything with them. Another one of those things you have to live with.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. It’s nice to know I’m not alone with this. What you’ve described is 100% the same! I guess half the time it’s fine. I made the mistake of investigating let’s say! Think I’ll learn to live with it x

I have no experience but I thought I’d share this as a blogger/influencer I follow posted about hers recently. She’s very funny and is on Instagram too https://www.amodelrecommends.com/p/piles-banding-experience
